"Now is the accepted time, not tomorrow, not some more convenient season. It is today that our best work can be done and not some future day or future year. It is today that we fit ourselves for the greater usefulness of tomorrow. Today is the seed time, now are the hours of work, and tomorrow comes the harvest and the playtime. "– W.E.B. Du Bois

This year's conference, themed "A Celebration of Legal Scholarship: Reflections of Success & Visions of Excellence", will serve as a reflection of the past success of African-Americans in the legal profession and a discussion of efforts to cultivate our growth as leaders in the discipline.  Our goal this year is to facilitate a discussion on the social responsibility of the African-American legal community. We invite legal scholars, private practice professionals, and public interest advocates to contribute to what we are certain will be a series of stimulating dialogues. Thank you for viewing our site and we look forward to your participation!
